Juveniles & families

Problematic Sexual Behavior in Juveniles (PSB).

As a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP), Tara works with juveniles who have engaged in problematic or harmful sexual behavior — and with the families navigating the shock, fear, and complicated love that follows.

Treatment begins with thorough clinical evaluation: understanding the behavior in context, assessing risk, and identifying the developmental, relational, and emotional factors that contributed. From there, evidence-based interventions help the young person develop healthier coping skills, accountability, empathy, and self-regulation.

Families are partners in this work. Caregivers receive guidance, support, and a clear framework for safety planning at home. The goal is not punishment — it is real, durable change and a future the whole family can live in.

Adults & adolescents

Pornography & Sex Addiction.

This work is available to both adults and adolescents. Compulsive sexual behavior — including problematic pornography use — is more common than most people realize, and shame is one of the biggest reasons it doesn't get addressed. Therapy here is direct, non-judgmental, and built around the assumption that you are not your worst impulse.

Together we'll look at what's driving the pattern: the triggers, the rewards, the unmet needs underneath. Treatment integrates cognitive-behavioral tools, shame-reduction work, and skills for relapse prevention. When partners are involved and willing, we also make space for the relational impact — the betrayal, the trust rebuilding, and the slow repair.
